Iris - My irises in the garden were so bountiful this year that I had to capture them down in a painting. I try to capture all the details of the flower including the veins, the subtle change of violet, yellow and red colors.

Snow fall in Cape Breton - This painting shows the sunset in Cape Breton national park based on a picture I took when visiting Nova Scotia some years ago. You can see the sun setting just behind the trees, illuminating the whole sky.
Main River, Wuzburg - I visited Germany last year and took a picture when the sun just broke through the cloud in the afternoon and the water reflected the colorful buildings along the river.
